Zinc Dust

Zinc Dust is a product of zinc that is used as an anti-corrosive agent in various protective coatings such as marine, industrial, and yacht coatings. It used in pharmaceutical industry as an intermediate for drug manufacturing processes. This dust is manufactured using refined zinc through electrolytic process. It is applied on the surface as a sacrificing element and helps in preventing corrosion by sacrificing itself. This dust is mixed along with face powders and talcum as it provides UVA protection to the skin.

Zinc Phosphate

Zinc Phosphate is the chemical compound of zinc with chemical formula Zn3(PO4)2. This inorganic compound is used in various paints and coatings to enhance paint adhesion as well as to reduce corrosion. It is used as dental cement in dentistry for cementation of crowns, bridges, inlays, and orthodontic appliances or occasionally as a temporary restoration. This compound appears are white crystals and in insoluble in water. It is manufactured by mixing zinc oxide with magnesium oxide and a liquid that consists principally of water, phosphoric acid, and buffers.

Methyl Ethyl Ketoxime (MEKO) is colorless liquid that is the oxime derivative of methyl ethyl ketone. This organic compound has the chemical formula C2H5C (NOH) CH3 and is widely used as a protective, anti-skinning agent for different paints and coatings. It is used to suppress the formation of a skin on paint before it is used. This liquid compound works by binding the drying agents and metal salts that catalyzes the oxidative cross linking of drying oils.
